Les 4 Vallées is undeniably one of the most dynamic ski regions in Europe and yet one of the least publicised. A well-kept secret by those in the know. It is Switzerland’s largest independent ski region and has attracted mountain lovers for years. 92 lifts interlink 412kms of groomed pistes, connecting the numerous resorts of Verbier, La Tzoumaz, Siviez, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Mayens de L'Ours, Thyon, Les Collons and Les Masses.
Although Veysonnaz is an undiscovered ski destination by most of the world, the Swiss have been training their World Cup racers there for decades. Veysonnaz Ski School provides outstanding ski and snowboard instruction to students of all ages. Private or group lessons can be arranged for our guests.
Off-piste skiers and riders can maximize the potential of the region by experiencing the legendary unmarked trails off the back of the Mont Fort summit. The backcountry options are incalculable and the reason why expert alpinistes return year after year in search of untracked snow. Hidden Dragon is perched above the relaxed traditional village of Veysonnaz at 1500m. The telecabine transports you to 2000m to Thyon and opens you up to access Les Collons and Les Masses to the east and Siviez, Nendaz and Verbier to the west. Away from the crowds and the queues, Hidden Dragon residents prefer the slopes to themselves. With empty pistes on one's doorstep, but with the vast and exciting region where all resorts are within easy reach, Veysonnaz is truly a hidden gem. If you can come and visit us out of the school holidays, you will be amazed and delighted by how uncrowded the pistes are. There is nothing quite like having the the slopes to oneself, is there? So shhh, let's keep this our little secret!

Although the 4 Vallées is notorious for its excellent and dynamic skiing, we know not everyone is in search of fresh tracks and white-knuckle freeriding every day. For those who would prefer non-alpine skiing or boarding activities, you may like to consider some of the following snowy pastimes: snow-shoeing (raquettes), cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice-climbing, husky-sledding, paragliding or simply walking along the ancient bisses through pine and fir forests. It's a wonder wonderland which offers something for everyone!

Due to the Hidden Dragon’s convenient location near the base of the bubble lift, a mere 2 minute drive or 5 minute walk, it is easily possible for Hidden Dragon guests to obtain a pedestrian ski pass and meet their fellow party members on the piste. Hearty Swiss fare like fondue, rosti and raclette accompanied by a local Valaisan wine is all part of the glorious alpine experience at 2000+ metres altitude.
